Create your own extra-special window treatments for the nursery
using ready-made Sumersault accessories and coordinating fabrics.
To make an original, soft-sculpted valance, buy extra Sumersault
wall hangings and attach them securely to the top of your window
treatment or valance. Make sure that the finished window treatment
is out of reach of your child.
To give a
custom look to plain curtains
Trim them with Sumersault fabrics
that are available to coordinate with many bedding patterns. A
simple tieback or border can give the window a finished look.

Use the popular
sponge painting technique to give your baby's room a unique and
personalized look.
For another interesting effect, cut the sponges into different
shapes and alternate the shapes in a line around the room to create
a fun border.
You can also get your baby involved in the decorating process:
try sponging the entire area below the border or chair rail with
a soft, neutral shade. Take another, slightly stronger color and,
with your assistance, let your baby randomly make handprints over
the sponged area. You may want to practice first on white paper.
Practice sheets can be framed and given to relatives for a special
occasion!
